AiPad is a very big PCB sold by Aitendo Japan. On this PCB there is a lot of footprint contains sensors, MPU, 555 timer, power supply for 3.3v and 5v, connectors, displays, arduino and others. We can use this board in development and also debugging process. There is a lot of soldering to do to complete this board, so I will try to make a log of completing this board.
As I inspect, it is a very high quality PCB. I think the thickness is more than ordinary pcb, about 2.0mil. You can see it have many parts on the PCB. I will update the progress time by time.
Above, I have finished on the power supply part, the 3.3v regulator part, the free space for DIP 16 IC and DIP 8 pin IC, the CD1220 battery, the MAX7219 IC for driving led’s and two 74HC595 shift registers.
Above is the part of arduino footprint or arduino shield. The middle footprint is for 40-pin DIP IC, but I just can’t decide whether to put a 40 pin socket or 40 pin ZIF socket, so I will decide it later on.
Above is the current progress as 2018/02/13.
